Động từ có đuôi “e” trước nó là phụ âm, bỏ “e” rồi thêm “ing”.
Ex: drive - driving
Động từ một âm tiết tận cùng là 1 nguyên âm + 1 phụ âm, ta gấp đôi phụ âm trước khi thêm “ing”.
Ex: get - getting
 Thêm “ ing” vào các động từ sau:
